What services do you offer?

I offer several tuning packages depending on the current state of your piano, along with string replacements and minor assorted repairs.

How often should I have my piano tuned?
It's recommended to have your piano tuned at least twice a year to maintain optimal sound quality and performance.

Do you provide estimates for repair costs?

Yes, I provide detailed estimates for repair costs after a thorough assessment of your piano's condition.

Why does my piano go out of tune?

Pianos are sensitive to changes in humidity, causing the wood to either contract or expand. This will either flatten or sharpen the pitch of your piano. Although counter-intuitive, humidity, and not the impact of hammers striking the strings cause the piano to go out of tune. It is a good idea to keep the piano at between 40 - 50% relative humidity.

How long does the tuning take?

Depending on what tuning is required, no less than 2 hours. For more extreme pitch raises which require multiple passes, it could take longer.
